In today’s modern era, a person can use mobile phones, emails, text messages, chat sessions, and social networks to keep in constant communication with other people. With these new techniques, there has been a massive change in the socialization behaviors of people.

If a person decides to use all of these different platforms, they will benefit by receiving all of the latest information that involves their friends and colleagues. It means that they can be reached at any hour of the day and that they are able to use these technologies to be in communication with others as well. Even in remote locations, the existence of mobile phone networks translates to a person never being out of touch. However, using all of the advancements that are available can mean that a person will often find themselves staying for long periods of time at a computer terminal. The general critique is that constant use of this online communication can actually harm a person’s ability to connect with another on a face to face level.

In addition, these new platforms are a great way to increase business, therefore not being online with a social network account or being able to receive emails could mean that potential profits could be lost by a person who has not embraced this new technology.
